..I DIDN´T KNOW
IF I WAS BURNING OR BLOOMING…
BLEEDING INTO BLUE
Oil on canvas 100x150
Bleeding Into Blue was born in a moment when I didn’t know if I was burning or blooming.
I was overwhelmed by intense, conflicting emotions, and I needed to let them pour onto the canvas. That’s how the three horses emerged—symbols of what I was feeling:
red speaks of passion and wounds, of pain that screams; blue is the color that soothes, embraces, and protects.
The flowers blooming between the brushstrokes are like breaths in the chaos, delicate presences within something deep and turbulent.
With this painting, I wanted to capture that moment when emotions become matter, and painting becomes the only way to give them form.
